Wan Saiful Wan Jan, a leading voice for liberal ideas in Malaysia, talks about the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS), a libertarian think tank committed to promoting market-based solutions to public policy problems. He describes the challenges that the institute faces and how he hopes to use this platform to implement libertarian reforms in Malaysia’s education and finance systems.
