Liberal School Reform in Sweden

  | 16 de enero de 2014  | Vistas: 36

Liberalism

In the early 1990s, Anders Hultin helped introduce a revolutionary series of liberal education reforms in Sweden. Anders explains that the reform was actually quite simple: opening up private schools to public funding. In a country where 99 percent of students attended state schools, more than one thousand new private schools have opened since the reform. He also explains the philosophy behind the student-centered schools he has since established throughout Sweden.
