Communication Strategies Opposition Post-soviet Political Economy Post-soviet Reform

Leszek Balcerowicz discusses his experience as an economic reformer in post-Soviet Poland. He explains that the guiding principle behind all of his efforts was to strengthen Poland’s long-term economic growth. In terms of the reform process itself, he emphasizes the importance of thorough preparation, taking advantage of every window of opportunity, and good communication.
