New Media  | 06 de abril de 2011  | Vistas: 11

Libraries are commonly underestimated due to many misconceptions about them. They are an excellent source of knowledge and literature, useful not only to students, but to any person in the search of trustful information. In this interview, Suzanne Mancillas explains the role and importance of libraries within a society. Mancillas also describes the reference services available for the library users. She explains assistance techniques, such as outreaching, designed for people who cannot physically go to a library. She comments on the impact that technology has had on them presently, and explains the numerous new tools available, that make searching for data much easier for everyone.
