Antigua Forum Human Action Liberty UFM

The Antigua Forum is an exclusive, annual gathering of political reformers and entrepreneurs from around the world who believe in the power of human ingenuity and free enterprise to dramatically improve the well-being of people everywhere.

The Antigua  Forum 2023 organized by Universidad Francisco Marroquín, conducted an interview between Francisco González, CEO of Fearless Journeys, and Grace Bydalek, manager of the Dissident Project, a new initiative of Young Voices, a non-profit talent agency for up-and-coming professionals in the field of public policy.

Grace is a writer, performer, and manager based in New York, and her work has appeared on platforms such as Netflix and HBO. The Dissident Project aims to provide American high school students with informed perspectives on authoritarianism and socialism through first-hand experiences with speakers from different parts of the world. Grace talks about the origin of the project and its mission to create an emotional impact on students while influencing the next generation with ideas of freedom.

The project has been well-received by students and teachers, and they have plans to expand through virtual engagements and social media platforms. Grace highlights the importance of targeting high school students to shape their ideologies before they solidify, and she expresses gratitude for the fruitful experience at the Antigua Forum, where valuable information and ideas are shared.

The college campus market is saturated with groups, people, organizations that are doing great work in the Liberty sphere, and we really didn't see any sort of equivalent in the high school market." —Grace Bydalek

She emphasizes the need to instill gratitude and educate students about different totalitarian regimes while fostering appreciation for the principles on which their country was founded.

We hope that every student walks out of these conversations more informed, emotionally impacted, and feeling very grateful for what they've been afforded." — Grace Bydalek

Join us at the Antigua Forum, where project owners receive feedback and ideas for their initiatives, and the importance of interactive dialogue and learning from each other's perspectives.
