Facultad de Arquitectura UFMNader Tehrani gives an overall analysis of the current situation of architecture, both in the actual world and the academic context, and speaks about the input of architects in the development of perception and imagery, also elaborating on its ethical implications. He states that technology and innovation are central components of this art, which are certainly present in the Guatemalan structural design. Tehrani emphasizes the importance of getting to know the culture and history of the place where architecture is being developed, becoming a responsibility of the architect to achieve such knowledge. He concludes by sharing his educator's perspective about the evolution of teaching in this particular field and on how different universities and institutes stress the elements that they find more important in the learning process.
