How to Become an Educator for Freedom

New Media  | 19 de enero de 2015  | Vistas: 51

Sugata Mitra talks about how education has evolved along the years. In the beginning of evolution, knowledge was acquired through observation or experience; later it was transferred to others through writing, and today knowledge is everywhere. Mitra discusses the challenges for educators and the need of reexamination of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment due to the constant change of information. Finally, he explains that the role of an educator for freedom is not to provide answers, but to ask questions that will help students find them everywhere else.
