About this video

Digitally fabrication is the new paradigm for the production of mass  digital fabrication tools with increased quality, lower cost of production, and better use of CAD with machines. The stages of digital fabrication are CAD design, machine programming, and assembling. The two types of digital fabrication tools are design machines and construction machines. The limitations of traditional prefabricated construction systems (factory build and stick build) are qualified hand labor, low precision, slow production and high cost. Precision house manufacturing with digital fabrication tools can overcome this limitations and increase the quality of the houses. The most important application of this technology is being used to digitally reconstruct New Orleans cabins.
